Background/Experience: Ms. Wilson has owned several businesses both in Reno and San Diego; most recently a restaurant in Reno. She also managed her own public relations/fundraising consulting firm. While her background is diverse, she is well versed in many areas of business ownership and partnerships.

She is a former police officer/deputy sheriff in both San Diego and San Jose, CA and was the public information officer for both the Washoe County, NV Board of County Commissioners and the State of Nevada Public Utilities Commission.

Kathy has a Bachelor’s of Arts from San Jose State University. She is a member of the Reno South Rotary Club, and a member in good standing of both the International Association of Business Communicator’s (IABC) and the International Business Broker’s Association (IBBA).

Kathy has served on several local government task forces and committees and is knowledgeable concerning local government policies and practices.

Kathy is also the proud mom of Megan, a senior at Santa Clara University. She is passionate about skiing, hiking, golf and is an avid fly fisherwoman. Kathy has been a Renoite (on and off) since 1970.

Background/Experience: Katrina Loftin Winkel is the Vice President and Broker for the Reno Business Team office. Katrina's career as a Business Broker began in 1992 in Reno and proceeded to California in 1994. She has owned and operated an auto dealership, motel and an auto pawn business. Katrina has served on several community committees and is a past officer and board member of the Carmichael Chamber of Commerce and the Chair for the River City Classic.
